We are recruiting for a 2nd line Support IT Helpdesk Engineer to join a team based in Taunton. The successful candidate will be based in an office in Taunton and will cover all company offices from Weston to Weymouth. The main purpose of the role is to assist 1st Line support engineers with their development, and to escalate calls where appropriate. Other duties include helping to maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals including installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment where required.

Applicants should ideally have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a 2nd line IT role and will have a desire to progress their IT career.

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet scheduled work deadlines
