Our client, a large global business with offices across the world, are looking for an experienced IT Help-desk Engineer to join their team. Working as part of the wider IT team you will be responsible for providing IT help-desk support on the businesses’ computers, systems and services in an effective, efficient and timely manner. 

IT Helpdesk Engineer responsibilities include...

  • Log and prioritise all help-desk calls
  • Monitoring of backup processes and logs
  • Manage IT loan equipment resources
  • Support all system/server services
  • Maintain IT system procedures and policies 
  • Build Office macros to aid users
  • Maintain virus protection on all systems
  • Help provide basic IT training to staff

IT Helpdesk Engineer requirements include...

The successful candidate must be able to display previous experience within a similar IT helpdesk role coupled with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving. Good communication skills are key as you will liaise with users across the business and work to assist with both training and issues.
