Insurance Protection Adviser

My client is looking for a self-motivated and hard working individuals to provide recommendations on products that meet their lients their insurance protection needs.

The majority of the calls are inbound. But some of the calls will be outbound to confirm clients needs and potentially discussing health and medical conditions that may impact on their application and type of product that they need.


Insurance Protection Adviser responsibilities include...

Part of the role will include liasing with both customer and providers to manage the application and researching on the impacts of any medical conditions. You will need to liaise with both customer and providers to effectively manage the application.

It will be key to build relationships with customers to ensure their cover is suitable and to to review their policies where needed.

Insurance Protection Adviser requirements include...

Qualifications:

Experience in a regulated environment would be preferred. You will have the opportunity as part of the role to study toward the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, the cost of which is covered for by the company.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office systems especially Word and Excel.
  • Hours of work will be 9am - 5.30pm with an evening rotation of 10.00am 6.30pm but on a Friday the hours are 9am -5pm.
  • Evidence of self-motivation and ability to work alone.
  • Can produce and respond to detailed written and oral communication in an office setting
  • Able to use a problem-solving approach to respond appropriately to a wide range of enquiries.
