HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner – great opportunity to join our well-known Charity with offices in Devon and Dorset.  My client has an ambitious vision and strategy for the future and the HR Business Partner will help to drive the workforce strategy covering HR policies and practices, learning and development of people and optimising staff engagement. 

HR Business Partner responsibilities include...

  • Management and leadership of a small HR team.
  • Provision of a business partnering approach to managers ensuring collaborative working and the support of excellent people management and HR practices, identifying business needs and implementing effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the improvement of line manager capability using feedback and coaching techniques.
  • Oversee the quality and delivery of all aspects of the recruitment, hiring, onboarding and induction processes.
  • Ensure the coordination and delivery of the annual L&D plans and budgets are aligned with agreed priorities.
  • Accountable for all aspects of HR administration; employee records, on-boarding (including TUPE transfers), L&D, absence, benefits etc.

HR Business Partner requirements include...

  • Degree educated and ideally CIPD Qualified, however, experience will be considered.
  • Proven experience of leading HR/L&D functions, including the continuous improvement of delivery of HR services and administration processes.
  • Confident people management skills, especially through change and uncertainty.
  • Previous experience of TUPE in and TUPE out.
  • Confident of managing the full breath of HR operational activities, including HR systems, payroll, HR policies, L&D, recruitment and contract management.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with the natural ability to build credible professional relationships.
  • Full driving licence (with transport).
