We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified HR Advisor to work approximately 24 hours a week for a fixed term period of 12 months. There is flexibility to create your own regular work pattern around either 3 full days a week or reduced hours over 4 or 5 days.

The HR Advisor role is to provide a high quality, comprehensive HR Service to the business and the SMT. You will make a major contribution to the business ambitions through strategy and policy development at management level. Working very much as a HR Business Partner to lead and facilitate change, improve the quality of management and staff team work through effective employee relations, performance management and people development.

HR Advisor (Part Time) responsibilities include...

HR Advisor responsibilities include:

·         Lead the development of a human resource strategy

·         Provide proactive and timely HR advice to management

·         Lead on the development of a comprehensive performance management process

·         Work collaboratively with managers to ensure the correct handling of disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, reorganisation, redeployment and redundancy procedures

·         Lead on learning and development to develop and implement a learning and development strategy

·         Lead on the implementation of a recruitment and selection process in accordance with the company policy and procedures

·         Take overarching responsibility of all aspects of HR administration delegating appropriate tasks to the HR administrator

HR Advisor (Part Time) requirements include...

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar level role and be qualified to art least CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. Your strong generalist background, Employment Law knowledge and practical ER skills will enable you to offer a high level of support to the managers within the business. Experience of TUPE is of particular interest.

This is a stand-alone role where you are often required to react to the needs of the business and individuals as situations arise, coaching and guiding the managers.
