Cathedral Appointments are seeking a 1st Line IT professional for an innovative company based in Exeter. This role has come about as a result of high growth and is newly created to expand the team. The purpose of this position is to provide friendly and professional software support to customers across the world.  You will be joining a small team of passionate individuals who genuinely care about the success they are bringing to organisations. As the first person to take on this position, you will have the opportunity to shape the development of the team as the company goes from strength to strength.

Helpdesk Advisor (IT) responsibilities include...

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our client’s product, keeping up to date with changes and developments
  • Answer all incoming calls/emails offering 1st line support
  • Log requests accurately in the helpdesk software system
  • Manage tickets through to resolution ensuring all updates and communication are recorded

Helpdesk Advisor (IT) requirements include...

  • Reliable and enthusiastic, always willing to go the extra mile
  • Comfortable taking on the challenge of learning and using new software
  • Previous experience in a technical support role is highly desirable
  • An additional language would be advantageous but it not essential
