Group Risk and Audit Manager

Group Risk and Audit Manager required by our established client based in the South West who provide a range of financial services to both corporate and private clients throughout the UK. As Group Risk and Audit Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a risk management framework throughout the organisation.

Core duties and responsibilities will include: -

  • Maintaining the risk register at regulated entity and group level.
  • Producing risk management reports on a periodic basis.
  • Supporting the running of the Group’s risk committee meetings.
  • Conducting regular audits as per the compliance plan.
  • Promoting an effective risk culture across the Group by working with department heads, conducting relevant training and implementing effective policies.
  • Liaising closely with the internal teams to ensure new processes and policies are implemented and followed.

The successful candidate will offer the following skills, qualifications and experience: -

  • Qualified to Level 4 in a RDR qualification, ideally a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • A proven background and understanding of risk management frameworks, principles and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory framework and the FCA Handbook.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a financial services environment.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
