A fantastic opportunity for a creative and driven Graphic Designer to join a marketing team based in Willand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the workflow management of the design team, ensuring that creative and innovative print and digital design solutions are delivered.

Graphic Designer responsibilities include...

  • To develop innovative and creative design solutions in line with company briefs
  • To develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research, ensuring that design costs fall within the constraints of time and budget
  • To assist with the workload and workflow of the design team including:
    • The Company’s in-house Artworker
    • Marketing Manager
    • Senior Marketing Executives
    • Marketing Executives
  •   To work with a diverse range of media to design content including:
    • E-broadcasts
    • Digital web design
    • Brochure design
    • Event marketing
    • Packaging
    • All customer communications
  • To prepare design drafts and review final designs following agreement with relevant colleagues to ensure that specifications are met at the start of the production process
  • To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Company’s business customers and their sectors 

Graphic Designer requirements include...

A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the industry is required, and applicants should ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Experience working with print and digital web based design
  • Proven ability to use design packages and software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Basic understanding of web principles including HTML and CSS
  • Experience of working to multiple briefs
  • A quick learner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing work demands
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to understand and interpret briefs
  • Up-to-date knowledge with the latest design trends and software development within the design industry.
