The Gallery is a new concept in fine art sales that is dedicated to providing a very personal service. Part of the sales process is an art consultation at the clients home on the artists that are represented. This includes a fabulous home approval service where the art is taken to the client’s home and installed so the owner can really get a feel of the picture in their home space.

The role is a consultative sales role, you will be expected to work towards realistic but challenging individual sales targets and build a loyal client base.Other than delivering sales the successful candidate will also manage one or two part-time staff and providing them with support. Gallery Manager requirements include...

You will be a self-motivated individual who understands the tastes and requirements of your clients and knows how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships - Ultimately a candidate that feels as passionately about selling art and providing a personal and unique service to clients.

You will be hardworking and motivated by sales targets and be inspired by commissionable sales to ensure monthly targets are met in the Gallery.

This role offers the right person a great opportunity in art sales and you will also be part of an exciting new fine art Gallery concept which is being successfully delivered throughout the South West. Full training will be given on the range of Artists, prints and pictures that are part of the diverse product range. Art knowledge is not essential but the ability to immerse yourself in the product and gain knowledge will be key.

  • Successful sales person with a proven track record
  • Full, clean driving licence, for the home approval side of the role.
  • Hours of work, rota’s are on a shift basis and working on Satuday and Sunday is key
