Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced administrator to join an Exeter based charity on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide secretarial, admin and fundraising support to the fundraising team. 

Fundraising Administrator responsibilities include...

  • To be a key point of contact for supporters over the phone, in person and via email
  • To provide administrative support to the Fundraising team including helping with mailings, administration for campaigns, events and legacies where required.
  • To ensure supporter’s records are up to date, including any correspondence.
  • Arranging meetings, including booking meeting rooms and taking minutes as required
  • Monitor and coordinate display materials and ordering stationery and equipment as needed
  • Managing the events diary and social media planner
  • To support and coordinate volunteers where necessary to support the fundraising team.
  • To assist at fundraising events as required.

Fundraising Administrator requirements include...

This is a busy and varied role in which candidates should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working within a charity would be ideal although other admin based experience will also be considered. A good knowledge of Microsoft office packages is essential along with a positive and friendly demeanour.
