An exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Planner has arisen in Plymouth. The main purpose of the role is to service existing clients of the business and promote business development to encourage profit growth from internal Partners and external connections. Our client is seeking a driven, results-orientated candidate, who is able to service the financial needs of a diverse range of clients.

  • Driving profit growth from internal partners and external connections by promoting the firm’s services
  • To regularly conduct client reviews to ensure that ongoing service agreements are met and to maximise new business opportunities
  • Ensuring that sufficient client information is obtained to enable accurate information analysis
  • Proactively introducing new clients to the firm through prospecting activities
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant product, legislative, and technical changes, and ensuring that a current statement of professional standing is held at all times 

Financial Planning and Wealth Manager requirements include...

It is essential for candidates to be Level 4 CII Diploma Qualified in Regulated Financial Planning. Candidates who have a CII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or have Chartered Financial Planner membership status, alongside candidates who are SOLLA Accredited or G60 qualified will be given preference, although these qualifications are not necessary.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills, with confidence to present to a range of audiences
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, with good Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Knowledge of relevant FCA compliance procedures
  • Good analytical, research, and analysis skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A proactive, driven, and results-orientated individual
  • Confident with dealing with and building relationships with typical accountancy clients
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Adept and prioritising workload with the ability to manage large amounts of data under pressure and within tight timeframes
