Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work in a one to one EA/PA role for a high profile individual in the Exeter area. You will act as our client’s ‘right hand’ person in support of every aspect of their professional life and some areas of their personal life, including complex diary management of all corporate events and personal activity. You will organise frequent meetings and events, with detailed and exacting requirements, manage complex travel, transport and accommodation plans including international trips.

Executive Assistant responsibilities include...


  • Organise meetings, take minutes, booking suitable venues when required
  • Gain a clear understanding of our client’s Companies, their hierarchical structure and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Coordinate business travel, arrange overnight accommodation and manage our client’s diary this will require weekly diary co-ordination meetings to facilitate the smooth running of the schedule
  • Manage and administer client accounts, ensure that all files are kept up to date and prepare monthly expenses
  • Extensive liaison with our client’s PR company, agent and journalists as necessary
  • Proof-read press releases, update social media channels and provide working presentations as required
  • Assist with the organisation of promotional events
  • Organise our client’s personal affairs and ensure time off is scheduled regularly

Executive Assistant requirements include...

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work to multiple briefs
  • Basic accounting and administrative skills
  • A positive attitude is essential
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to be flexible with regards to hours – the occasional evening or weekend may be required

Whilst flexibility is possible within the working hours, generally the role is to work Monday to Friday with the core hours of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm to be worked.  The successful candidate should expect that they may be also called upon to work at weekends and evenings from time to time due to the nature of this individuals profile, with occasional travel abroad if required.
