My Newton Abbot based client is seeking an experienced events executive or manager to join their fast growing and creative team in a newly created role.  The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of managing events and logistics, and will absolutely have a passion for the events and entertainments industry. An accomplished administrator you will also possess meticulous attention to detail..

Events and Logistics Administrator responsibilities include...

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Approving contracts between service providers and clients to ensure the requirements of the service providers are met
  • Preparing detailed itineraries for confirmed events
  • Acting as the point of contact for any logistical queries
  • Preparing costings and arranging travel bookings
  • Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the events
  • Working as part of a fast paced and busy administration team
  • Providing covering for other areas of the team when required
  • Dealing with inbound enquiries when required
  • Covering out of hours logistics phone when required.

Events and Logistics Administrator requirements include...

Skills and experience required:

  • High degree of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding or experience of the events industry
  • Keen interest in entertainment and events
  • Previous experience of booking flights, accommodation and arranging visas is desirable
  • An articulate and confident communicator both written and verbal
  • Highly IT Literate with first class internet based research skills.
