Engineering Account Manager – Excellent opportunity to join a growing business as their new Engineering Account Manager.

Engineering Account Manager/BDM responsibilities include...

  • Regular visits/communication with existing accounts, ensuring they are receiving a first class product/service and identifying any potential growth areas
  • To grow sales via the research and development of new customers
  • Co-ordinate customer site visits
  • Attend relevant industry events to identify potential new customers
  • Work closely with the senior management and commercial team to implement an effective business development/sales strategy

Engineering Account Manager/BDM requirements include...

  •  A strong track record of managing Key Accounts and developing new business, ideally from engineering and/or manufacturing environments
  • A strong technical aptitude – quick to understand and interpret
  • Highly commercial, able to identify new opportunities
  • Confident negotiating and influencing
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ambitious, driven and a real self-starter
  • Full driving license

This is a brand new role and my client seeks an ambitious individual who is able to develop and progress within the business.  As Engineering Account Manager, you will be comfortable working within an engineering environment, developing sales with new and existing accounts and well versed at building long term business relationships.  You should be confident discussing technical products and quick to understand technical product ranges.   This role is mainly field based and will involve travel to clients.  In return you will receive a competitive salary, company car/car allowance plus bonus and company benefits.
