Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join a dynamic, growing business based in Newton Abbot. The purpose of this role is to develop and manage email communications with customers in line with the overall digital marketing strategy.  The strategy aims to not only drive customer retention but expand the reach of company data, increasing data on user demographics to allow the business to better understand its customers. The successful candidate will be extremely data-savvy and keen to reach new customers by creating innovative email marketing campaigns. 

Email Marketing Manager responsibilities include...

  • To engage customers by creating and managing emails from idea generation to execution
  • Use targeting, segmentation and optimization to increase click and conversion rates
  • Analyse email contact lists and ensure that communications are being targeted correctly
  • Carry out post-campaign analysis to report back return on investment
  • Collect data on customer demographics, expanding the reach of data to include specific customer characteristics
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contributing constructively with ideas and developments
  • Supporting the development of the wider strategy though team meetings and liaison with key internal stakeholders
  • Conduct competitor analysis to help drive new campaign ideas
  • Define and develop the vision for the business’s email marketing strategy

Email Marketing Manager requirements include...

  • Experience working in digital marketing, specifically email marketing and campaign management
  • Comfortable and motivated by working to KPIs and targets
  • Experience using email automated marketing platforms such as Dotmailer
  • A data expert who excels in data segmentation and building data sources
  • At the forefront of digital marketing technology and a keen interest in technological trends

This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital marketing professional to make an impact in a rapidly growing business. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to collaborate with other teams and departments to create and monitor email marketing campaigns.
