This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established business in their trade who are keen to grow their digital offering to their customers and ensure their website and digital tools reflect their future growth and development. Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager who can carry multiple staged web projects from initial concept to implementation.

Digital Project Manager responsibilities include...

  • Project manage a major website refurbishment including developing specifications with agreement from relevant parties and achieving deadlines for works.
  • Manage the development of web assets including the business e-commerce web site, customer blank web sites, development of creative web tools, third party integration, and back-end integrations.
  • Maintain relationships with IT and Marketing teams to facilitate any ongoing upgrades and improvements both during and after the website refurbishment and in an ongoing capacity.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee external designers, developers and other working parties to meet pre-agreed deadlines.
  • Produce work schedules for all stakeholders, assignment and co-ordination of tasks, provide status reports for stakeholders, manage associated budgets, and manage risk throughout the initial project and for all smaller digital projects.
  • Manage and facilitate the design and development of all digital marketing tools designed to support our customers (e.g. personalised apps, branded digital brochures) to provide an efficient, high quality and professional service at all times.
  • Develop and evaluate new project requests in a creative and innovative fashion to ensure briefs are resolved and future proofed. Assess project scope (including technical specifications, fit with Company systems and compliance obligations) by liaising with other relevant departments in order to present a realistic plan of time, budget and resource requirements and identifying any hidden issues from the outset.
  • Effectively brief all relevant Stakeholders on new projects (providing clear written briefs and project specifications), ensuring they are clear of their individual and team requirements, answering any queries, and acting efficiently on any feedback which may alter the project scope.
  • Set SMART (or equivalent) project milestones and KPIs to monitor progress across all projects and comprehensively test all outputs at key milestones to ensure they meet the initial brief, mitigate risk and ensure they will stand the test of time.
  • Evaluate digital projects with all relevant stakeholders on completion. Manage all SEO and advise on PPC keywords and budgets.

Digital Project Manager requirements include...

Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager who can demonstrate experience managing a range of digital projects (web and mobile) from start to finish including experience developing e-commerce/selling B2C and B2B websites. Good hands-on experience across a range of digital platforms is also key, ideally including ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, eCRM, UX, IX, IA, digital analytics, e-commerce and reporting. Experience of working with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies would also be beneficial. In return the business are willing to offer flexibility on hours and will consider part time or contract based hours.
