Digital Marketing Executive

  • Salary: £25000 - £30000
  • Ref: DO-MK-180

An exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer to really make their mark in this highly successful local ecommerce business. This is a newly created role which will consolidate the existing marketing activities of the company, and create a platform on which to build a robust and effective marketing strategy.

We are looking for someone who can bring a strong degree of knowledge across the digital landscape, and combine a wide range of marketing skills in driving this aspect of the operation forward.

The successful candidate will already have demonstrable experience within a digital marketing role, and be up to date with all elements of ecommerce, online advertising, social media, and digital marketing. You will be ready to build on all of your experience, working closely with the MD to drive the business forward.

Digital Marketing Executive responsibilities include...

  • Creating and managing a social media campaign to include daily postings and activity across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
  • Manage all digital advertising, researching media and sources
  • Drive the digital marketing activity across all channels
  • Managing Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO
  • Reporting on success of campaigns, analysing results and understanding ROI
  • Oversee the creative elements of the marketing strategy, working with external agencies and designers as appropriate
  • Act as Brand Advocate, ensure brand compliance and protection
  • Develop and manage key accounts as needed, including occasional client meetings if required
  • Supporting the wider team as required – which could include everything from picking up the phone and engaging with customers to pitching in if the Warehouse is under pressure on a deadline

Digital Marketing Executive requirements include...

We are looking for an ambitious, aspirational and hard-working individual, someone who will happily roll their sleeves up and get involved in whatever the business needs whilst relishing the opportunity to really own the marketing strategy for the business. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to drive increased sales – whether through the company’s’ own website, wholesale or third-party sales.

Due to the rural location of the business, you will need your own transport, and be comfortable working in an area where local services, shops and facilities are not close at hand – most of the team here happily eat lunch at their desk. The dress code is relaxed, and the nature of the business is closely aligned with rural life, and candidates must have an interest in this sector if not previous experience in a similar environment.

If you have the skills and experience required, and feel you fit the brief we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
