A well established and thriving Exeter based business has a current requirement for a Digital Marketing and eCommerce Manager, to plan, implement and delivery the company’s ecommerce strategy. 

The successful candidate will come from a digital marketing background with demonstrable experience in all aspects of digital marketing from a strategic level through to the day to day operational activities and responsibilities to ensure the delivery of the company objectives.

Digital Marketing and eCommerce Executive responsibilities include...

  • Setting up and delivering the company’s ecommerce strategy to include the development of the company’s eBay stores and Amazon Trade Account
  • Managing sales events and running the maintenance of business leads thereafter
  • Managing the website performance in line with business requirements
  • Continually working and developing the SEO of company websites
  • Managing the eCommerce outlets to maximise product sale using PPC/google Adwords, remarketing, analytics, Facebook advertising, and other digital and sales avenues
  • Dedicated focus on traffic generation, conversion and customer retention
  • Optimising marketing activities to ensure maximum return on investment
  • Implementing change based on site performance to maximise site traffic and conversion rates
  • Providing regular competitor intelligence
  • Planning, implementing and analysing online marketing campaigns
  • Managing Social Media activities, ensuring relevant and fresh content is created

Previous experience of creating and managing eBay and/or Amazon Accounts is highly desirable

To be considered for this role you must be able to evidence the following skills and experience:

  • Running SEO and PPC Campaigns with extensive key word analysis
  • Social Media Account Management
  • Digital Marketing and eCommerce Strategy
  • Google Analytics
  • Campaign Management
  • Website or e-commerce CMS
  • Excel
  • Photoshop
  • Data Management
  • Specific understanding of the disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites including: ppc, email marketing, online PR, SEO, offline marketing and PR, affiliate programmes
  • Understanding of order management and customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context
  • Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics
