Our Exeter-based client is seeking a customer-focused and driven individual to join their customer service team. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Customer Services Manager by ensuring that all customers receive the highest levels of service. 

Customer Services Assistant responsibilities include...

  • To maintain an up-to-date awareness of market trends and client and competitor activity, and to then feed this information back to the management team
  • To ensure that the data for all clients and customers are kept confidential in line with company policies
  • To ensure that all engagements are profitable to the company and clients you deal with
  • To work alongside the Customer Services Manager to improve all information held on the database
  • Acting to ensure that the businesses’ customer service is a centre of excellence
  • Assisting the Customer Services team by requesting feedback from customers in the form of surveys 

Customer Services Assistant requirements include...

Applicants should be customer-focused, driven, and energetic, and must be able to demonstrate good communication skills.  A working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 would be an advantage, and candidates who possess or are working towards a customer services NVQ, and who have previously worked in telecommunications or the energy industries are welcomed.
