I have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Consultant in Accountancy with a highly regarded employer based in Exmouth. This client is looking for an experienced candidate who will work as part of the Client Services team, working closely with customers as well as the Development and Sales teams. The purpose of this role is to provide a high standard or customer support and technical assistant to my client’s professional customers, with emphasis on providing support on Personal and Corporation Tax queries.

Customer Service Consultant – Accountancy responsibilities include...

  • To respond to enquiries from customers, either verbally by telephone, writing, by email or letter.
  • To concisely and accurately document support request information
  • To identify causes of and solve problems for customers
  • To ensure, where appropriate, information gained form handling supports queries is promoted to our knowledge base and communicated to interested parties.
  • To update knowledge base with known issues, tips and workarounds as required
  • To maintain up to date product knowledge and acquire further knowledge of relevant supported products

Customer Service Consultant – Accountancy requirements include...

  • Excellent customer service/people skills
  • Experience of working in customer support role
  • Educated to degree level or similar, ideally in a finance related subject
  • Strong software skills
