Cathedral Appointments are seeking a flexible and driven individual to join an established business based in Crediton. The main purpose of the role is to support effective communication between buyers, sellers, and solicitors with regards to progressing sales for the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the sales process is as smooth and efficient as possible, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept up to date and that issues preventing progression are resolved promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring effective and smooth communication between buyers, sellers, and solicitors
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders are kept up to date, and that issues preventing progression are resolved promptly and effectively
  • Liaising with agents and solicitors to obtain solicitor details
  • Liaising with buyers and mortgage brokers and financial advisors to see how mortgage arrangements are progressing
  • Preventing, where possible, sales from falling through
  • Ensuring that buyers have sufficient funds by completing relevant checks
  • Ensuring that all stakeholders feel confident that the sales process is being managed competently, while ensuring that all legal requirement are compiled through the selling process
  • To promote the company brand
  • Manages administrative requirements of the role in an effective and timely manner 
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive details about each sale
