Credit Control Assistant opportunity – 6 month FTC. My client is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join their team based in Exeter. This role is working within the debt recovery team. The successful candidate will provide and maintain an efficient and effective credit control system. To ensure all account queries are dealt with appropriately. 

Credit Control Assistant – 6 month FTC responsibilities include...

·         To provide comprehensive credit control support

·         Sending out statements and reminder letters to clients

·         Producing daily collection figures and distribute as required

·         Dealing with any account queries and correspondence

·         Arranging invoices and instalment payments

·         Preparing account reconciliations

·         Taking outstanding payments

·          Answering account queries from internal and external clients

·          Understanding VAT and write off procedures

·         Liaising with the Accounts team to resolve queries re unallocated funds

·         To ensure all account notes are updated as and when necessary

·         Monthly preparation and distribution of Aged Debt reports

·         Taking necessary action from returned Aged Debt reports

·         To provide cover for the Credit Controller and Credit Control Executive when necessary

Credit Control Assistant – 6 month FTC requirements include...

·         Experience of 1 year working in a credit control role

·         A strong administrator with high attention to detail

·         Keyboard and computer skills including word, spreadsheets and database

·         Numerate and Literate

·         Strong interpersonal skills

·         Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet scheduled work deadlines.

We are ideally looking for someone who has some experience of Credit Control and is willing to take on admin based responsibilities. More responsibility will be given over time.
