We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced copy writer to join an established business based in Crediton on a part-time basis. The main purpose of the role is to produce clear, original, engaging, and persuasive copy content to maximise consumer engagement. Our client is seeking an individual who really understands what makes engaging narratives and has a relevant copy writing qualification. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills, good knowledge of social media platforms, and must be flexible in terms of working hours and approach to work. Working hours are flexible at 30 hours per week, and candidates must have access to a car.

Copywriter responsibilities include...

  • Produce clear, original, engaging, and persuasive copy content
  • Keep up to date with current market trends in line with the business to educate content style
  • Monitor the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and adapt advertising approaches accordingly
  • Ensure that appointments with customers are made in an organised, logical, and timely way to maximise efficiency
  • Liaise with customers and clients
  • Creative narratives to help potential buyers visualise product experience
  • Provide engaging, interesting, informative, and entertaining text for social media
  • Write editorials and award submissions
  • Amend, revise, and develop adverts and campaigns
  • Put forward your ideas to colleagues 
  • Promote the company brand
  • Prepare floor plans using the company software

Applicants must have the skills necessary to create exceptional copy content to maximise reader engagement and buy in. Applicants must have good IT skills, must have a relevant copy writing qualification, and must have good knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Able to create exceptional copy content and have a strong understanding of what makes engaging consumer narratives
  • Able to effectively proofread own copy and check spelling and grammar
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people and promote the company brand
  • Excellent literacy, IT, and telephony skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Able to work flexibly around customer availability
  • A creative and imaginative mind, with the ability to solve problems
  • A self-starter who is able to work under their own initiative, under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • Good organisation and time keeping skills

Candidates must be willing and able to work on weekends and outside of normal working hours as and when requires.
