An exciting opportunity for an experienced Content Category Manager to join this expanding team. This is a permanent position which is currently vacant, and as a result they are also keen to secure interim cover whilst the appoint permanently

The post holder will become an integral part of the e-commerce department, you will be instrumental in creating innovative and dynamic content, and developing fresh ideas to promote the business, products and increase web sales.

Naturally ambitious, you will be passionate about achieving results within the ever-changing world of online technology, digital marketing and e-commerce.

Content Category Manager responsibilities include...

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the look and feel of the site, controlling the quality of the imagery, content and design. You will also oversee the product, content, editorial and photographic imagery and site merchandising.

Content:

  • Research of content for new products
  • Edit and creation of content
  • Proof reading
  • Creation of product page, product descriptions, category and category descriptions
  • Creation of how to guides, Q&A, blogs and KB
  • Updating and allocation of products
  • Creation of Calls to Actions and readers offers

Product:

  • Product analysis, including sales and purchase trends
  • New and exclusives in addition to core product range
  • Themes, offers, category management, best sellers and problem products

Video

  • Responsible for product/content/editorial and photographic imagery on the site
  • Constant quality of imagery
  • Content and copy descriptions
  • Overall site merchandising

Onsite SEO:

  • 404 maintenance
  • 301 and 302 maintenance
  • On page SEO - Meta etc

Reporting:

  • Weekly and monthly sales reporting
  • Analysis of site activity through GA

Measured Metrics:

  • Positive sentiment trends through social media
  • ###li#< of visitors moving from product to checkout
  • Key social media # and interactions

Tools used:

Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Power BI, Monetate, Criteo, SLI, Google Analytics
