Cathedral Appointments are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Commercial Property Solicitor to join our client’s friendly, local office based in Exeter. This role will suit a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with between 2-3 years’ PQE who is looking to develop their career with a firm who offers fantastic progression opportunities.

Responsibilities of a Commercial Property Solicitor will include, but are not limited to:

  • You will be required to assist the team with large transactions and also deal with your own caseload of Commercial Property matters, with the supervision and support of a Partner and Solicitor where needed

  • You will deal with a wide range of matters, including: freehold sales and acquisitions; commercial leases; commercial and residential property development including development agreements, options and overage; secured lending work; corporate support and the buying, selling and leasing of pubs and hotels

  • You will attend networking events and undertake business development in order to promote both yourself and the firm, as well as provide an excellent service to existing clients with a view to developing these relationships

Background/Skills of a Commercial Property Solicitor:

  • You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with between 2-3 years’ PQE gained within a Commercial Property position

  • You will have strong relationship building skills with a desire to network and business develop

  • You will be highly driven and enthusiastic

  • You will have great attention to detail
