Commercial Manager (FMCG) responsibilities include...

  • Develop and increase sales with current customers and new customers
  • Ensure top class service levels are provided
  • Ordering of raw material and liaison with wholesale team on stock levels
  • Setting of weekly selling prices and management of the price list
  • To ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved
  • Forecasting and analysing sales
  • Keeping abreast of competitor activity

Commercial Manager (FMCG) requirements include...

The ideal Commercial Manager (FMCG):-

  • Thorough understanding of end to end FMCG/food production processes
  • In depth understanding of pricing and cost and its impact on P&L
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot and develop commercial opportunities
  • Bright and personable approach to customers, ability to open and develop new accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial operations in order to deliver an outstanding service to the customer
  • Previous man management skills
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel
