My client, a growing business based in Newton Abbot has an exciting opportunity for a Buying Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This company is passionate about what they do so an interest in the arts would be beneficial. This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for progression. 

Buying Administrator responsibilities include...

Duties include:

  • Providing general administrative support to the buying team
  • To create purchase orders, register new POs on cash flow sheet and update cash flow sheet with any change of shipping schedule.
  • Liaise with suppliers on a weekly basis regarding the agreed shipping schedule
  • To monitor product availability, review shipping schedules and adjust production plans based on stock requirement,
  • To create goods received notes and book in stock as and when required.
  • Assist with product development, product compliance and quality control work. All other administration duties as assigned.

Buying Administrator requirements include...

The successful candidate will have previous administration/coordination experience along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. A driven and proactive approach to work is essential along with a good working knowledge of excel. Previous experience within a buying/stock control environment would be ideal but not essential.
