Cathedral Appointments are seeking a Technical Sales Manager/Executive on behalf of a highly-successful and growing local company, who are market leaders within their industry and based in the Plymouth area.  The successful candidate will be a technical Sales person, currently in a business development role and who has a stable work history.

  • Generating and converting new business within a set geographical area
  • Attending and presenting the company business at new business meetings in the South West
  • Responding to and handling incoming enquiries
  • Strive to hit and exceed set targets
  • Working closely with the Director of the company who will provide you with first-class training

Business Development Manager/Executive requirements include...

Applicants shall be technical sales people, ideally with some experience/understanding of the water and waste management industry.

Applicants should also be able to demonstrate their commercial awareness by way of negotiation skills.

  • Excellent ability to be involved at external and internal meetings, and to be able to confidently voice well-thought out opinions.
  • To be friendly, personable, and approachable
  • To demonstrate interest and commercial awareness with regards to the current business market
  • Ability to easily adapt to new environments and use one’s own initiative
