Business Development Manager - An exciting brand new opportunity to join my client’s sales team.  As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing new opportunities within existing targeted accounts and for identifying new business categories.

Business Development Manager responsibilities include...

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across a range of business categories
  • Develop joint business plans with existing and new business partners to include increasing brand presence, identifying and executing pop up’s, shop within shops and concessions
  • Manage existing National Accounts across traditional retail and online channels  
  • Propose and execute sales strategy across current and prospect key accounts  
  • Build on existing relationships and ensure growth across existing customers, extend product range, achieve regular order pattern  
  • Work with larger accounts to forecast future demand and achieve correct stock holdings  
  • Identify new buying departments across existing customers which can be targeted for further sales opportunities  
  • Manage own P&L across all accounts  
  • Regular reporting and analysis against agreed KPI’s  
  • Ensure customers are fully updated on a regular basis across existing and new product launches    
  • Attend trade shows as required  
  • Host showroom meetings
  • Sales strategy input to shape future company sales activity  

Business Development Manager requirements include...

  • Proven experience of working with brands and leading retailers  
  • Track record of building relationships with key buyers and decision makers  
  • Proven business development success and experience of developing new categories
  • Driven and ambitious individual who is a self-starter and able to work equally effectively within a team and independently  
  • Ability to manage P&L’s across multiple customers  
  • Strong reporting skills  
  • Driving Licence
