We are looking for a competent and organised administrator to join a well established engineering business based in Newton Abbot on a 12-month contract (maternity cover). The main purpose of the role is to provide general administrative support to the Projects Department. Ideally suited to an experienced administrator, applicants will be highly IT Literate with previous experience working with databases.

The hours for the role are Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3.30 pm. 

Administrator: Document Control responsibilities include...

  • Working alongside Project Managers to ensure contracts are sent to according to strict deadlines
  • Processing documents both from customers aswell as sending them to customers, sending documents for internal review, and co-ordinating responses back to customers
  • Carrying out archiving of project documentation
  • General administration duties, such as booking travel for engineers. 

Administrator: Document Control requirements include...

  • Computer literate in MS Office Suite
  • Previous experience working with databases
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Highly accurate administration skills regarding document filing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills A pro-active worker
