We are looking for a bright administrator to join a dynamic and fast paced team based on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Exeter’s most prestigious employers at an entry level where you will be given extensive training, support and career opportunities.

Ideally suited to a recent Graduate/College Leaver or an experienced administrator within financial services you will have a good level of education particularly in Maths and English, and you will be highly IT Literate. In addition to daily use of MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel, you will learn and use a range of in-house and bespoke databases and systems.

Administrator responsibilities include...

  • Deal with client correspondence by email and letter, responding as appropriate using both templated letters and composing your own correspondence
  • Taking calls from stakeholders and dealing with enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, paying close attention to detail
  • Manager and prioritise your own work load to ensuring standards and service levels are adhered to   
  • Produce financial calculations on behalf of your customers using a number of different automated and manual processes.
  • Working in a close team setting, you will support and assist your team as required
  • A positive attitude to work, offering ideas and suggestions for improvements where appropriate
  • Maintain a professional manner in all contact both internally and externally, representing the business at all times

Administrator requirements include...

  • A competent administrator able to prioritise and organise own work load
  • Competent user of MS Office, and able to learn new systems and processes with ease
  • Highly numerate, able to work with numbers and make financial calculations
  • Excellent command of the English Language, able to compose own correspondence to customers
  • A good level of Education, ideally a business Graduate, or with good College results or equivalent (Maths and English GCSE Grade C as a minimum)
  • Personable, team orientated, happy and able to communicate with internal and external contacts in a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong work ethic, career focused
