Cathedral Appointments are seeking an experienced administrator for a well regarded Exeter-based organisation. This is a 9 month maternity cover position, with the potential for extension for the right person. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to senior management, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently. This is a varied role within a friendly team environment, and the successful candidate will be personable with a positive attitude.

Administration Coordinator responsibilities include...

  • Undertake administrative and secretarial tasks to support senior management, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department
  • Work with the Head of Department to generate and maintain accurate records and ensure data protection laws are adhered to, using specialised databases
  • Attend and minute department meetings when required, often organising room bookings and coordinating staff schedules
  • Receive and direct visitors and deal with face-to-face, email and phone enquiries
  • Screen and distribute internal and external mail received by the department
  • Attend and assist with the running of events hosted by the department Regularly update marketing materials and support the Marketing team in the administration surrounding event sponsorship

Administration Coordinator requirements include...

  • Similar experience working in an administrative support position
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial systems
  • Attention to detail is essential
