Cathedral Appointments are currently looking for an Administration Assistant to join a well-established, local business based in Launceston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an office based role.

Administration Assistant responsibilities include...

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Providing all round support to a busy office, including:

·         General administrative tasks
·         Reception cover, including answering the telephone and processing calls and conveying messages to relevant people within the office 
·         Assisting in the smooth running of the office, including keeping communal areas clean and tidy
·         Being the face of the business; involving receiving clients and other visitors into the office in a helpful, friendly and professional manner, ensuring you project the right image for the business at all times
·         Setting up meeting rooms in advance of clients arriving
·         Providing typing support where necessary
·         Ensuring the effective and efficient running of the post room, including franking post and taking it to the Post Office
·         Internal post rounds
·         Daily collection of post from the Post Office
·         Stationary orders and stock control
·         Photocopying and scanning of documents

Administration Assistant requirements include...


  • Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good customer service skills and able to contribute to a team environment
  • Accuracy, strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills Willingness to help and learn
