Temporary vacancy for approximately three months for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity with an established and recognised brand based in Axminster. The aim of this role is to be responsible for the recording and paying for purchases of this company.

Accounts Payable Clerk – temporary for approx. 3 months responsibilities include...

·         To set up new vendor accounts

·         To ensure that all invoices have the appropriate approval before processing

·         To gather and input accounts payable documentation

·         To research and resolve discrepancies

·         To answer all vendor enquiries

·         To perform cash disbursement processing and overseeing cheque processing

·         To print all accounts payable reports

·         To assist in monthly closing and reconciliation of accounts payable activities

·         To provide payroll shared services with monthly details

Accounts Payable Clerk – temporary for approx. 3 months requirements include...

·         Experience of working with Accounts payable and cashbooks

·         Numerically competent

·         Experience of using spreadsheets, ERP systems, bank reconciliations, journal understanding and accounting principles
