I have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant for an immediate start. Working for a South West employer of choice based in Exeter. This is a temporary vacancy with the view to it eventually becoming permanent. The aim of this role is to process invoices and to make payments to my client’s suppliers.

Accounts Payable Assistant (Temp-perm) responsibilities include...

  • Scanning and verifying purchase invoices and requests for payments
  • Payment requests, supplier maintenance, cheque production
  • Preparation of journal information to enable reconciliation of invoice cost allocation
  • Responding to email and telephone enquiries

Accounts Payable Assistant (Temp-perm) requirements include...

  • Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable position
  • A numeracy or accountancy qualification is desirable
  • The ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Professional communication skills
