Exciting opportunity for a Accounts Clerk working for an established organisation based in beautiful Torquay. My client is looking for an experience Accounts Assistant with strong Accounts Payable experience. Working in a small finance team, this role reports to the Director of Finance.

Accounts Clerk responsibilities include...

  • Inputting invoices onto Sage 50
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and in accordance with my clients terms
  • Obtain the necessary authorisation for invoices and expenses
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts
  • Deal with purchase ledger and expenses enquiries
  • Review disputed invoices and resolving issues
  • Data input onto Excel

Accounts Clerk requirements include...

  • Experience of working in a Purchase Ledger role
  • Experience of working in a busy finance department
  • MS office knowledge & experience
  • Sage 50 experience is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate, hardworking and adaptable
  • AAT qualification is preferred
