Accounts Assistant

I have a fantastic vacancy for an Accounts Assistant to support my clients Business Services team working in Truro. The successful candidate will provide a range of accountancy and tax related services to both new and established clients. 

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include...

  • Accounts preparation
  • Preparing individual, business and company tax computations and returns
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Providing bookkeeping services
  • Handling written, telephone and email queries from clients
  • Dealing with clients on a regular basis

Accounts Assistant requirements include...

  • AAT part-qualified or fully qualified
  • Previous experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/LLPs and limited companies
  • Accurate, analytical and methodical in your approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Confident, professional and team orientated in your approach
  • Proficient in MS Office and Sage
  • Experience of electronic accounting packages
  • Familiarity with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE is advantageous
