I currently have an Accounts and Admin Assistant opportunity working on the outskirts of Exeter. Working for a family run business, my client is looking for candidate who can demonstrate a consistently high level of attention to detail and who possess a good working knowledge of both the sales and purchase ledger processes. 

Accounts & Administration Assistant (full-time or part-time 4 full days a week) responsibilities include...

  • All aspects of the processing of sales and purchase ledger transactions
  • To liaise with internal departments and external customers and suppliers
  • The reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts
  • To resolve any reconciliation discrepancies
  • Other ad-hoc tasks including administration and front of house support
  • To assist with month-end procedures

Accounts & Administration Assistant (full-time or part-time 4 full days a week) requirements include...

  • Previous experience in a Purchase and Sales ledger role
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 and how it works
  • AAT qualification is preferred but is not essential
  • Strong IT skills
  • A friendly telephone manner
  • An adaptable and flexible approach to work
  • A driving licence and own transport
  • The ability to work to deadlines 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for a varied role, offering a mix of finance and administration. This client will consider candidates looking for both part-time and full-time hours, part time hours would be 4 full days per week. Due to my client’s location, it is essential you have a driving licence and own transport for this position.
