    Job Description: Experienced Purchasing Manager required by my client based on the outskirts of Exeter. This position will be responsible for managing the Purchasing Department ensuring that products and components are purchased to meet the production plan at the right cost, quality and timescales. Day to day the responsibilities of this Purchasing Manager include : - • To develop, manage and implement strategies to create the most cost effective efficient delivery of materials. • To manage the Purchasing team and ensure that business objectives are met. • To build and maintain effective client and supplier relationships and negotiate the most attractive contract terms and conditions for the business. The successful candidate for this position will offer a proven background in a Purchasing Manager role where they have gained international purchasing experience and man management. You will also be CIPS qualified, offer strong commercial experience and have the ability to develop strong leadership skills. Experience of working within the automotive industry would be an advantage.

The main purpose of this position is to design and develop new products in order to meet market demand ensuring that cost, quality and safety are at the forefront of all designs. The successful candidate will project manage each design from concept, through to develop bills of materials, standard operating procedures, liaising with suppliers and creating instruction for use within production. You will offer a proven track record working within a similar role, be motivated, with a natural flair for creativity and detail. Excellent problem solving skills are required in addition to the ability to work within a pressurised environment. A Mechanical Design qualification at HND or Degree level is essential as well as knowledge of Solidworks.

    Job Description: My client is a reputable and long standing organisation located in Exeter. Following a period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Senior Business Systems Analyst on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the reliable operation of the organisations business systems, incorporating all integration of and interfaces between business systems and applications. Key responsibilities of the role include: • Ensuring that business systems, applications and reporting tools are appropriate and meet the requirements of the wider IS & business strategies •Maintain data integrity across the organisations business systems • Ensure that mechanisms exist to maintain appropriate access to business systems, applications and reporting tools.• Provide a suite of business systems that is cost effective, flexible and does not constrain current operational efficiency • Ensure that software licensing and business system contracts are controlled and that maintenance agreements and schedules are in place and appropriate. •Efficiently supervise and develop a small team of business systems analysts. All candidates must hold a detailed knowledge of business systems. An understanding of Ingres Database systems and BI Server are essential as is a consultative approach to business. A working knowledge of VMware environments would be highly beneficial as would previous experience of working within a Housing Association environment. My client is looking to offer a salary ranging between £30,000 - £35,000 plus company benefits.

    Job Description: My client is going through an exciting stage of growth and they are looking to expand their design team in order to further explore new markets with their products. The main purpose of this position is to work within the design team and rapidly develop new products in order to meet market demand ensuring that cost, quality and safety are at the forefront of all designs. The successful candidate will work closely with the product designer to project manage each design from concept stage, through to design release. This will include the creation of engineering drawings, organising prototype build, costed bills of materials, the undertaking of prototype testing to meet legal requirements and the creation of Instructions for Use documentation. The candidate must also be competent with and take ownership of design office processes such as Engineering Change Control, Sample Approval, Design Change Requests, etc. You will offer a proven track record working within a similar role, be motivated, with a natural flair for organisation and detail. Excellent problem solving skills are required in addition to the ability to work within an exciting but pressurised environment. Supervisory experience would also be advantageous as it is envisaged the department will continue to grow, offering the opportunity to manage an Assistant Engineer. A Mechanical Design qualification at HND or Degree level is essential as well as knowledge of Solidworks.
