You will be required to develop and deliver an efficient engineering programme across the business through the various engineering disciplines including electrical, building and mechanical departments. Key responsibilities include identifying areas of improvement and problem areas, developing plant modifications, cost analysis and routine maintenance tasks. You will need to demonstrate the ability to understand the reliability processes, have a proven background within a people management post and have a natural desire to work within a challenging environment where changes need to be made.

Through the management of KPI’s you will be responsible for the end product, it’s quality and meeting the agreed timescales and customer demands. You will be responsible for actively implementing lean manufacturing techniques, monitoring KPI’s, motivating your team and responding to customer demand quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will have a proven background within a similar role, will have line management experience and will have ideally worked within an FMCG environment. First class communication skills and the ability to work under pressure is also required. This position is working on a shift basis, Monday – Friday but will involve some night shifts.
