Job Description: My client is seeking a commercially focused procurement planner who is motivated and methodical in their approach to achieving the best prices possible, in addition to managing the warehouse to ensure storage is kept to a minimum whilst effectively keeping the flow materials in line with demand. This is a challenging new role to the company and is an opportunity for the right candidate to really make a difference. Day to day, the position involves monitoring the suppliers performance, negotiating all prices, sourcing new materials, and managing the entire purchasing process. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in a similar role where they have used ERP to monitor the purchasing developments. In addition, you will offer excellent communication skills, first class problem solving skills and will have ideally worked within a manufacturing environment.
