Job Description: Operations Administrator required for my client who is a fast growing company working within a global supply network and who are looking for a dynamic individual to join their vibrant Operations Team. Based in the heart of Devon, they Manufacture and Distribute Consumer products to a global market. This is a new position to the team and is responsible for ensuring that all stock, both inbound and outbound is managed effectively in line with business forecast. The successful applicant will deal with the shipment of all products, liaise with freight forwarders, internal warehouse functions and produce regular MRP reports to ensure the product availability is correct. Ideally you will offer a proven track record in supply chain and logistics management; have excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. This is a key role to the department and requires someone who can offer excellent problem solving skills whilst working in a busy environment. Graduates who are able to offer experience in a commercial organisation within an analytical or purchasing role will also be considered.
Job Description: Purchasing Assistant required by my client to cover a 6 month contract working within a small team providing front line system support. This position will have contact with both suppliers and internal customers, including Warehouse, Logistics and Accounts. Day to day you will be responsible for – • Placing of sub contract purchase orders. • Expediting of direct material purchase orders, including regularly updating logistics controllers on status. • Resolving invoice queries • Updating the database with lead times, contact information and purchase order amendments In order to be successful in this position, the right candidate will offer experience of working within a similar field, offer excellent numeric and communication skills and be confident at using databases.

This position will be responsible for managing the Purchasing Department ensuring that products and components are purchased to meet the production plan at the right cost, quality and timescales. Day to day the responsibilities of this Purchasing Manager include : - • To develop, manage and implement strategies to create the most cost effective efficient delivery of materials. • To manage the Purchasing team and ensure that business objectives are met. • To build and maintain effective client and supplier relationships and negotiate the most attractive contract terms and conditions for the business. The successful candidate for this position will offer a proven background in a Purchasing Manager role where they have gained international purchasing experience and man management. You will also be CIPS qualified, offer strong commercial experience and have the ability to develop strong leadership skills. Experience of working within the automotive industry would be an advantage.
