Job Description: My client based in Exeter has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is a fast paced environment and the company has a great feel to it. The Assistant Accountant reports to the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth daily operation of the accounts team. A large part of the role is concerned with the financial reporting within the Company, ensuring that agent commissions and royalties are calculated and paid correctly, and managing the daily task workload of the department towards the month end timetable. The Assistant Accountant is heavily involved in the journals and reconciliations that underpin the monthly management accounts. It is a key financial and administrative and offers support to the Financial Controller directly in specific projects as required.
