Job Description: Technical Sales position for niche design and manufacturing company who sell to the UK and export markets. This is a new Technical Sales position and responsibilities will involve:- •Deal with all incoming technical sales enquiries •Provide product pricing •Support of UK and export distributors in technical training •Develop new sales opportunities with existing customers •Carry out existing and new customer visits in the UK and overseas (in time) •Maintain competitive analysis on products, companies, services etc •Contribute towards NPD •Provide regular update reports on for all sales activities Ideal candidates for the role of Technical Sales will already have some experience of working within a technical/ engineering/manufacturing environment and have had some exposure to the sales cycle and customers. Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement would be highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, first class organisational ability and self-motivation are essential.
