    Business Development Manager - South West

    Job Description: My client is a reputable and growing provider of software solutions to professional service orientated organisations. Following a period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to take responsibility for a territory spanning the South West of England. Key responsibilities within the role focus towards the developing of new business opportunities and revenue streams. Active account management of high value accounts and looking to upsell additional services when possible will also be required. Commercially minded the successful candidate will be measured on increasing subscriber numbers and will have pre-sales, sales and relationship management responsibilities for your own territory with the full back-up of our world class development, support, marketing and business development team at my clients head office. This is a field based role, so the successful candidate is expected to manage their own time and work on their own initiative. All candidates interested in the role must hold a minimum of four years of B2B sales experience and be comfortable in selling into a highly professional environment. Experience of working in the accountancy and/or accounting software arena would be considered a distinct advantage. My client is looking to offer a basic salary of £30,000 and an OTE of £50,000. Following a recent restructure they are now looking to recruit a Key Account Manager on a permanent basis. The role will be a combination of office and field based work. Focusing on the sale of high value products to leading national retailers the successful candidate will hold the following key responsibilities: • Actively managing a large retail account that generates in excess of ten million pounds worth of yearly revenue - This will involve regular face to face meetings with senior decision makes typically procurement managers and senior buyers. •Consistently look to introduce new product lines into all existing key accounts •Produce accurate forecast and profit reports for review by senior management •Seek new business opportunities through the conversion of leads and cold calling •Prepare and present pitches to prospective clients. All candidates interested in the role must hold a proven track record of national retailer account management. A background in the sale of furniture would be highly beneficial but isn’t essential. In order to drive their sales forward they are now looking to a recruit a telesales executive to join there already successful team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold calling and lead qualification. Active account management will also be required within this role. All candidates interested in the role must hold a proven track record in telesales and hold a fantastic telephone manner. The ability to build rapport with senior levels of management is also required. Experience of working within advertising and media telesales would be advantageous but not essential. From time to time there will be an opportunity to meet with potential clients in a face to face manner. My client is looking to offer a basic salary ranging between £15,000 - £17,000 and an achievable first year OTE of £25,000 - £30,000.
