TEA PARTY RAISES £180 FOR HOSPISCARE

Tea and Cakes recruited in support of Hospiscare Week

‘Tea at Three' at Cathedral Appointments offices in Southernhay on Tuesday, 9 June witnessed the bringing together of passers-by and invited guests all of whom shared two passions: a love of tea and cake and a desire to support Hospiscare during their special fund raising week.

An array of cup cakes, rock cakes, Victoria sponges and scones were just a few of the tasty treats which tempted those with a taste for cake and drinking tea. Choosing just one cake was too difficult, so the only option was to try more and focus on money counting instead of calorie counting.

Cathedral Appointments Joanne Caine, said: "Today's ‘Tea at Three' has not only been a great success but it has also tested the team's cake making skills. We are delighted to have seen so many people enjoying themselves and thank them for helping us raise £180 for Hospiscare which is our nominated charity for 2009."
