Social Media for Charities

 On Wednesday 18th November, Cathedral Appointments co-hosted a free mini seminar for their charity clients to look at how social media can be used to communicate their cause to the wider community.  Everys solicitors very kindly made their fantastic new board room available for the event and provided the refreshments.  Members of the Optix Solutions team tweeted throughout  to demonstrate the immediacy of communicating using social media.

 James Barisic, charity law specialist with Everys, and Alistair Gleave, Business Development Manager with Optix Solutions, delivered the very entertaining and informative presentation which gave an introduction to the different social media sites and how they can be used.  The discussion continued afterward over wine!  It was great to see a number of different charities in attendance and a further seminar is planned for the new year.
