    Job Description: General Manager required by my client based in the South West who specialise in their market producing precision components to the aerospace industry. They are currently in the process of reviewing their production processes with the ultimate aim of reducing costs and identifying opportunities of growth. The main responsibilities of the role will include: -  Contributing to the overall manufacturing business strategy and ensuring this is effectively communicated.  Developing and implementing agreed targets, measures and KPI’s to monitor growth and change.  Regularly reviewing and producing working practices in order to improve and develop.  Implementing new processes and procedures ensuring effective training and monitoring is given. The successful applicant will be offering: -  Proven knowledge of the latest precision quality manufacturing techniques and lean manufacturing.  The ability to motivate staff and maintain a high level of working practices.  Experience within high added value engineering environment with proven experience within engineering and people management.  Minimum of HNC or degree qualification. The main purpose of this position is to maintain and control production and quality systems.     Job Description: My client has gone through some considerable investment over the last five or six years and now boasts some of the most start of the art production machinery within their industry. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to provide diagnostic breakdown cover and routine maintenance for the production machinery (including CNC, PC/PLC controlled) and general maintenance of site services and facilities. You will have experience of working within a similar role and will offer relevant formal qualifications, electrically biased but with good mechanical skills. The successful candidate must also have machine fault-finding and maintenance experience. Excellent team working skills and the ability to work in a fast moving production environment with competing and changing priorities. This position will involve providing cover during and outside of factory working hours (inc. evenings, after midnight during the week , and some Saturdays).
