    Job Description:

    IFA Wealth Manager - Employed IFA required for expanding financial services business. My client is a regional business that has been operating in South West for a number of years and covers a wide remit in terms of financial advice and commercial insurance. They are currently entering their next phase of growth and are looking to add an additional IFA to cover the Exeter and East Devon area.   The expansion has been driven by the acquisition of a number of smaller practices which will in turn expand the business opportunities in Exeter and East Devon.  This role will be a mix of business to business and direct client meetings.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an IFA Wealth Manager who maybe looking for the security of an employed role.  You will join a regional team and benefit from an excellent support structure.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop both new and existing business.  You will need to be qualified and able to give advice at RDR level 4.

    Job Description:

    My client is seeking  a Paraplanner to join a growing team supporting a regional South West financial planning business.  Established for over 20 years they provide financial planning services to teachers, doctors, families and retired professionals.

    General duties will include:

    ·         Suitability letters.

    ·         Pension reviews and recommendations.

    ·         Investment reviews and recommendations.

    ·         Protection reviews and rebroking.

    ·         Annuity reviews and recommendations.

    ·         Annual drawdown reports.

    ·         Cashflow modeling and reports.

    ·         Client income /TFC requests.

    ·         Client valuations.

    ·         Quotations.

    ·         Preparation of documents for client meetings.

    Regulatory Requirements:-

    ·         Knowledge of money laundering regulations

    ·         Awareness of terms of business, FCA compliance, know your client, key FCA messages.

    Desirable Experience/Quals:-

    ·         First Software, Filemaker, Exchanger for research, Assureweb and O+M pensions provider.

    ·         CII diploma status and be working towards chartered status.

    Senior Paraplanner – My client is seeking a Senior Paraplanner to support a top business performer within a 20 strong regional wealth management business.

    The Paraplanning team is based in Exeter but you don’t need to be.   The department remotely supports the UK network of IFA Wealth Management offices.   So if you dream of a flexible approach to the work life balance and are able to attend the Exeter office on a monthly basis, this could be the job for you!

    Job Description:

    My client started life as Chartered Accountancy practice, however over a number of years the Financial Services part of the company has been split into a separate division which services clients from the public sector.

     

    The service division initially built its reputation within the Southwest, however is now expanding rapidly, largely due to an accreditation from the NPH National Primary Headteachers’ association.

     

     This has allowed them to develop and access to schools, colleges and local councils. They are also regularly developing new connections with councils and other similar organisations provided via these affinity connections.

     

    Role Profile:  The IFA will provide financial and pensions advice to education professionals generated by the company. You will be booked group presentations and seminars by the company and you will be responsible for booking appointments via those meetings.  Connections will also be made for you, in order to facilitate the provision of seminars to employees of colleges, local education establishments and public sector organisations, furthering the generation of new business. 

    • My client regularly ties up new affinity connections with educational establishments, council departments and public sector organisations in newly developing areas, opening new income streams. 

     

    • Business is expanding rapidly and currently, both Managers and Advisors are being recruited across the region. 

     

    • Advisors receive a commission package, which is geared for success. Tiered commission levels. In addition a commission drawdown is available. Average earning potential is over £50k/£60k per annum but the potential to earn is very high  

    • Full  back office and Managerial Support

    • Home based role – laptop and Point of Sale technology provided

    • Good team ethic fostered, high staff retention, encourages team working and employee social events.

    The initial on ongoing training that is provided, as well as the seminar support has enabled this IFA to deliver consistent high performance.

    You must have Full level 4 diploma with a proactive, highly driven, self starting nature.  You must be able to manage your own diary and organisational skills will be essential.
