Job Description: My client based in Exeter is currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Controller. The Purchase Ledger Controller reports to the Financial Controller, ensuring the smooth daily operation of the purchase ledger and the control of payments to suppliers. Following restructuring and consolidation, this is a new role tasked with ensuring the effective and efficient processing of supplier invoices, maintaining payment cycles, accurate posting and allocation of payments made, good housekeeping of the purchase ledger, maintaining firm and friendly relationships and communications with suppliers, and efficient associated reporting. With cash the lifeblood of an organisation, this is a key role within a small and increasingly focussed accounts team. Working in close conjunction with the Accounting Technician it is a key financial and administrative role and offers support to the Financial Controller directly in specific projects as required. In order to be successful you will have a proven track record in Purchase Ledger and be able to hit the ground running.

Following restructuring and consolidation, this is a new role tasked with ensuring the effective and economic collection of debts, the accurate posting and allocation of cash, maintaining good housekeeping of the sales ledger, and effective associated communication and reporting. With cash the lifeblood of an organisation, this is a key role within a small and increasingly focussed accounts team. Working in close conjunction with the Assistant Accountant it is a key financial and administrative role and offers support to the Financial Controller directly in specific projects as required. Job Description: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a leading company based in Devon. There will be some support from the Finance Director but you will need to have experience of working autonomously. Ideally you will be a CCAB qualified Accountant, however, the right attitude and personality is just as important to my client. Job Description: My client based in Exeter is currently looking to recruit a Finance Officer to cover a 10 month secondment. The successful candidate will be experienced in Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll. Duties will include: • Deal with all creditors and debtors and maintain accurate records on Sage accountancy software • To prepare all accounts for financial and tax year end • To prepare monthly management accounts • To deal with all inter-company balances • To monitor and record petty cash transactions • To run Sage Payroll and activate payment of salaries for all staff • Electronic banking • Liaise with external Accountant when necessary • You will also be required to help with various administration tasks and where else it is deemed necessary.
